General

The collection of data by ZfT is based on the information provided to us. ZfT regularly requires this data for the execution of its business operations. If, for example, personal data (e.g., name, address, e-mail address) is collected either through visits to trade fairs and business contacts including e-mail or through the e-mail addresses provided on the website or the contact form, this is done on a voluntary basis. This data is processed in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) EU DPA for the fulfilment of a contract, for the implementation of pre-contractual measures or, if desired and permitted (with the consent of the user in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) EU DPA), for the user’s own marketing purposes and is not passed on to third parties for purposes other than those mentioned without the user’s express consent. Authorised third parties who receive data may, for example, be affiliated companies or service providers. The provision of your personal data is not required by law. It is only required by contract if you yourself become a contractual partner, but it is regularly necessary for the execution of business operations and contractual processing in order to communicate with you in the context of contract initiation or contract implementation and to ensure processing.

Die Speicherung der Daten erfolgt für den Zeitraum und die Dauer vorvertraglicher Maßnahmen bzw. der Geschäftsbeziehung oder solange Sie davon unabhängig ein Informationsbedürfnis an uns haben. Die gespeicherten Daten (in der Regel Name, Anschrift, E-Mail-Adresse, Telefonnummer, Faxnummer) werden gelöscht, sobald der Zweck entfallen ist und keine gesetzlichen Steuer-, Archivierungs- oder anderweitigen Pflichten entgegenstehen. Im Falle bestehender gesetzlicher Pflichten erfolgt die Löschung nach Entfallen der gesetzlichen Fristen. Dies sind in der Regel 6 oder 10 Jahre.

ZfT weist darauf hin, dass insbesondere die unverschlüsselte Datenübertragung im Internet (z.B. bei der Kommunikation per E-Mail) Sicherheitslücken aufweisen kann. Ein lückenloser Schutz der Daten vor dem Zugriff durch Dritte kann nicht gewährleistet werden.

Access data

We, the website operator or page provider, collect data on access to the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DPA) and store this data as server log files on the website server. The following data are logged in this way:

• Visited website
• Time at time of access
• Amount of data sent in bytes
• Source/reference from which you accessed the site
• Browser used
• Operating system used
• Used IP address

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g. to be able to clarify cases of abuse. If data must be kept for reasons of evidence, they are excluded from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified.

Collection and processing of personal data

The website operator collects, uses and passes on your personal data only if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the collection of data.

Personal data is defined as all information which serves to determine your person and which can be traced back to you - such as your name, e-mail address and telephone number.

You can also visit this website without providing any personal information. However, to improve our online offer, we store (without personal reference) your access data to this website. These access data include, for example, the file you requested or the name of your Internet provider. The anonymisation of the data does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

This includes a right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data transferability of these data, as far as no legal regulations contradict. Until revocation, the storage and collection of the data remains lawful.
